About Kai Lange
In 2002 I graduated in architecture and began my career with Pesch&Partner, Herdecke, Germany.
In 2003 I commenced developing and implementing high quality, individual residential buildings and barrier-free residential complexes with up to fifty units for the architectural practice Bauart, Dortmund, Germany.
In 2007 I started the project management of "HITS - Heidelberg Institute for theoretical Studies" with Bernhardt+Partner, Darmstadt, Germany, which also included the complete rebuilding of a tutorial building as well as the restoration of a listed Villa in protected historical gardens.
In 2010 the project HITS was completed and received the award for exemplary building by the chamber of architects of Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
In 2012 I returned from a two year long journey across Asia and Latin America and took up my current job as project manager with gmp, Architects von Gerkan, Marg and Partners, Shanghai, China.
